When Nightmares Come1st Edition

A solo and cooperative investigative skirmish wargame of modern supernatural horror. Up to five players form the Nightwatch — a team of self-taught occult specialists and monster hunters — and work through a mini-campaign of six Incidents in and around the fictional town of Deacon Falls. Each mission splits into a narrative scene (rolled on tables to determine local events) and a tactical engagement using the Action Dice Pool, with d6/d8/d10 dice forming each character's stats and combat pool. Tiered enemies, flexible player classes, and a 4+ success threshold.
